A garden journal from near Wembury

In the garden now

One garden, about 500 m², with room for plants from very different corners of the world.

A Trachycarpus fortunei palm, an Acer palmatum Japanese maple and a Sequoiadendron giganteum all grow here, alongside several different rhododendrons. They bring their own shapes and scale to a garden in Devon.

The 12 m² greenhouse is a different kind of growing space: small enough to make every corner count, and a useful counterpoint to the trees and shrubs outside.

This page is a note from the garden as it is. I will add fresh observations as the plants change through the year — new leaves, flowers, growth and the occasional surprise.
